Hi , sorry new to allotments and therefore new to this message board but I would be really interested in the document you mention as well !  ::)  But as I am new, I can't PM you  :(  Is there a way that you could let me have it as well?  I would be very grateful !!

You can't PM anybody until you have at least 10 posts..
If you want to speed things up go to the Welcome thread and welcome a few people, it's a nice thing to do and it will take you to the right number of posts...

Wikipedia has a list of companion plants as does this site:

http://www.dgsgardening.btinternet.co.uk/companion.htm

I generally try to do the "flower" companions (Nasturtiums, Marigolds and Poached Egg plant) to make things look pretty for my young daughter.

I'm now trying to find where I'd heard Poached Egg plant was a good companion, I swear it is with tomatoes !
Paul, Andrew, Kevin, Galen - My parents got bored of normal names in the end!

Potatoes and tomatoes should never, ever, EVER be planted together simply because the ARE of the same family. One can pass a fatal disease on to the other, especially if the gardener growing them, smokes.
