Transplanting Pot Garlic
« on: March 21, 2010, 09:14 »
Hi

I have started garlic off in pots, and it was initially my aim to grow them in their pots until they were ready, but checking the bottom of the pots, the roots have come through already and they need to be moved on.

Is it worth putting them into the ground now?  Does anyone else start them off in pots then put them in at the allotment?

Lots of people start them off in pots. You are fine to put them in the plot now...be careful getting them out!
