Tilly has a cold

   Though the newbiew were kept separate a couple of weeks, all my girls got a bit of a cold. It's mostly gone ..  Matilda was worst she was sneezing, and had a bit of a barky cough a few times, but her chest is clear (I got my stethoscope out and had a good listen) .. She hasn't laid for four days but her abdomen has no swelling or tenderness.  She's well in herself .. parading around with her tail high ... poo normal.  Should I be concerned yet ??

Garlic granuals in water are a good idea, helps prevent other things too like internal parasites .....if this gets a hold of your flock you may looses birds!. If its getting better, all well and good, but you may find in times of stress it will come back. If the birds are not recovering pop along to the vet for some Baytril or similar. You can just pop it in the water and they all get a bit-simples
