How tall do Cabbage plants grow?

I have a plumber for a next door neighbour, I get the offcuts of blue pipe 

I try and use 1.5m lengths which seem to make tall enough hoops for most of the brassicas I grow including sprouts

I priced it at screwfix (if memory serves)  :blink: 20 or 25 METRES!!! for only about £15 / £20..

How many cloches will you get from that?

25 metres = about 15 hoops. 1 metre apart = 14 metres of cloche

It's in 50 metre coils not 25. Toolstation is a little cheaper than Screwfix at £20.41 for a 50mx20mm coil, Screwfix is around £30 I think.

If memory serves, and at my age that is not necessarily a forgone conclusion, Toolstation next day delivery is free over a £10 spend.

If you have a Scats near you they are doing 25m x 20mm for 9.75
