freezing kale?

It's coming to the end now, i pulled them all up, but there are some smallish leaves, so i wondered if i could freeze it & whether it needs blanching, or does it go manky when defrosted?

you can freeze it just like cabbage.

i didn't blanch mine and it went crumbly, but was fine when cooked.

(disclaimer, i think you're supposed to blanch veg when you freeze it, but i can never get it right, so i just wash and pat dry then freeze in portions)

I washed it and ripped it up like I was going to cook it, gave it about 30secs blanch and froze.  Works fine .....  keeps its shape/texture after freezing better than cabbage.
