Aquatic plants

A quick question folks

Can I divide them now or is it too late?

I would think it would be fine to do it now, use proper perforated pots and aquatic compost though. :D

I''ve found that once the plants are actively growing (no more ice and white stuff on the water and warmer days around) then it should be a good time...

Some aquatic plants do not need to be anchored in compost / pots and will soon make their own way to the nearest bank or anchor point on the bottom. I guess it depends how tidy you want your pond to be.

Leaving cleaning / re-organising a pond too far into spring has its draw-backs = tadpoles everywhere  ::)

Must do mine this Spring as I missed giving it an overhaul in the autumn.
Never keep your wish-bone where your back-bone ought to be.
