I've just been given some Autumn Bliss raspberry canes can i plant them now. They are about 18 in long do i plant them and cut them right down.

(You could leave one or two of the healthier-looking canes unpruned to possibly produce a few earlier raspberries but I think that would be asking a bit too much of the plants in their first year after transplanting.)
