Ventured into the greenhouse and got so excited that one of my tomatoes was just starting to turn red that I had to touch it .. then it fell of the truss into my hand! ::)

Loads of lovely peppers and spring onions and the next batch of lettuce is doing very nicely thank you so hopefully a nice salad for Sunday tea.  May even boil up some beetroot to go with it.  Yummy in my tummy.

Just back form holiday this afternoon, so went to the allotment and harvested, then just enjoyed the peace. Beautiful!

Isn't it amazing.... we go on holiday and then rush to our plots for "peace"...

I'm considering cheaper holidays on the plot so I can have that bit of extra time and relax.  ;)

Picked some swiss chard, milk mixed the cucumbers, wondered how big my spaghetti squash is supposed to get before I pick it?

Finally had an afternoon in the garden/veggie plot as all the kids were entertained......  8)

I trimmed and re potted some mint that has totally taken over my garden  >:( and bunged the rest in the composter.
Sorted out what's left of the strawberry patch and composted.
Weeded (which seem to have no trouble growing  >:( ) , dead headed, chucked dead bedding plants and composted.
Fed and watered everything  :D
Generally pottered round my veggies, tidyied, swept and picked a couple more red toms.
Also picked some parsley and put it in the fish pie I made for dinner....yum  :)

Nipping back out when kids gone to bed to put slug stuff round my lettuces

Feels good to have everything sorted, it's been on my mind

The goal of life is not to arrive at the graveyard in a well preserved body, but instead to skid in sideways, totally worn out yelling "What a ride!".

Some more digging again tonight only 15ft to go now, I also have to straighten out the plot as it narrows at one end.

The ground here is still very dry even after a bit of rain.

o/h carried on with sieving the third bed, i pinched out the tomato plants as they had got far too large, and did some general weeding. We both then sheltered in the shed as the heavens decided to open!
