Tomorrow I want to go and sit and read my book......just as soon as I have done the minimum of watering.

I'd just love to have time to sit and do nothing with no one near enough to call me or disturb me for ages.... 30 minutes peace quiet and tranquility away from everyone who needs me to do something for them..

Just a bit of me time...  ;)

It wont happen though    even hiding down on the plot!  ::)

Have managed to make a nice raised bed out of scraps of wood left up on the allotment, very proud of my unknown woodworking skills  :tongue2:

Then popped in some radish, lettuce & red pak choi seeds & covered, i'm determined that these seeds make it this time & dont get eaten by whatever munched everything else.
New to gardening & growing my own, its a very steep learning curve!

I did nothing on the allotment for a change, it is toooooo hot to do anything so I decided to give myself a day off and went to the beach instead and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I will water later on when it is a little bit cooler.

hmmm SERIOUSLY considered jumping fully clothed into the water trough!!! (Well, I certainly wouldn't do it naked, wouldn't want to frighten the rest of the site!!!!!!)
small, Welsh and almost certainly bonkers, but can be tamed with Talisker, if required

went to the plot and nobody else about, so I could hog the stand pipe...I gave everything a good watering, so shouldn't have to go up tommorrow.

Wandered gently to the plot - watered copiously in the early hours (well, before 8am) and then drifted away to leave everything to grow in peace.

Boy was it busy down there...... the cark park half full and the main gate clanking open and closed... a few other cyclists coming and going too.

Tomorrow I might see if midday is quieter  ::)

 >:(Nothing - we have had constant rain here in Co Down - at least I do not have to water the garden and the grass is beginning to green up again.

If it's like my plot, the damn things refuse to grow!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Swede... same problem here (I was told) so I thought (being a cocky know-it-all) that I'd prove them all wrong.  :)

Sowed the seed and up they all came  ;) .....weeded and watered .... lovely tops....

Yep!  :(
Swede is not at all keen to grow well on our site either    but I might just try again another year  ;)
