Picked some of my garlic today, but I think I'll leave the onions till next month.

Not as big as Aidy's, but a nice flavour; this one is kitchen clean! :D

Planted out sweetcorn, runners and french beans.  Planted some little gem under the runners.  Made a start on the brassica bed.

Planted out my leeks. Nipped the tops off the broad beans. Saw a weasel on my plot. :)

I went up intent on doing some digging, but it was just too hot.
I did some weeding and then got the hose pipe out and gave everything a good soaking.
I'll try the digging again first thing in the morning.

Pulled up some yummy cylindrical beetroot, then weeded the onion bed. They are beginning to bulk up a bit now.

We are  :wub:hes had a real run of good news, hes working towards scholorship auditions, grade six percussion, grade five violin and a tour with the orchestra. We wont see him for the summer holidays, and the only advice he gave us was

"sorry guys the weeding is on hold for me "

Time for you to start asking for complimentary tickets I think   ;)

Popped over this morning to find two of the lotties near me have been Vandalised in the night, Nothing major, greenhouse pane broken and a shed broken into, nothing taken and nothing else damaged, and two onions left in the water butt  ???
The unfortunate thing is we think it could be another plot holder doing this as it's not the first time something has happened and its always to plots that this person has fallen out with. But proving it. thats the hard part. It also leaves a bad taste in the mouth to think another lottie holder could do this  >:(
