Well done Mum! You don't hang about, do you? (your spuds apparently feel the same!)  :)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

Managed to get an hour or so.  Weeded, sowed parsnips to fill in the gaps in the rows, sowed more carrots, sowed some mangetout and took a punt on putting in a handful of dwarf beans.   Did some more digging, (I am getting quite excited as I have nearly finished digging.  I only have an area about 1.5m x 1.5m still to go, so that will be done this week yahay!

My courgettes and squashes are happily sprouting at home in the propagator, runner beans are bursting out of their pots ... spring well and truly here.

 :)
Lotty holder since Aug 09... I've FINALLY finished clearing it! On with the p.lanting  ....

Spuds in - brilliant mumofstig!

I spent ages making a huge row with the strimmer.... cut all the paths then watered and went... home in time to un-peg two 9kg washing-machine loads before the damp air arrived.

More sunshine needed..  ;)

continued to dig my long stretch of hard clay taking a break every two rows to do lots and lots of weeding. (bing weed & ground elder... argh!!  >:( )

i have been putting off the bottom of the plot as it seems to be covered with really deep rooted dandilions and dock :( so i have been trying to tackle it today too.

Sowed my Dig in french beans indoors & planted out some module grown peas.
:)

Finished off my cage for the brassicas, built an annex on it for the sweetcorn. Reason for that is we have the begining of a Parakeet problem. Absolutely loads of em. Planted some Marathon Calabrese plants that i natured in the tunnel.Watered the runners and hoed the onions. No wonder the OH is moaning about the home garden. Oh, and i planted the courgettes yesterday but watered them today. As usual at this time of year my near 250 sq mts is now running out of room.Theres space but its all reserved. I dont suppose anybody else has this problem do they????? Of course not!
