Put sugar snap peas in with net at the ready and three rows of leeks.
Started preparing for carrots, which may go in tomorrow.
Bit of tackle work in th polytunnel, and made a start on clearing chick weed.
Oh yes, put my manure in a tidy heap! :D

Some old hands on plot sites are lovely

I'm looking forward to enslaving my grandchildren tomorrow! Loads to do - want to get as much done as possible as RAIN is forecast for Sat and Sun. Grr
small, Welsh and almost certainly bonkers, but can be tamed with Talisker, if required

I planted some onward peas and hurstgreen peas, weeded around the goosegogs and helped my brother who is putting up a recycled fence for me. We came to a stand still when we ran out of fence posts. Hopefully some posts will appear from somewhere.

I did nothing but stood and watched as a man on a tractor went round and round in circles, ploughing my main plot. He stopped to chat to my partner and then decided to come and give us a hand... And what a hand! He has saved me hours and hours of work. And now it's raining. Fantastic (seriously).
