Yesterday was VERY PRODUCTIVE.

Weeded the main bed, the corn and squash beds, the current house. Planted out more cauliflower, marigolds and peppers. Planted from seed "pumpkin" courgettes, more mangetouts, Little Gem, and two types of radishes.

..and my hubby had his first new potatoes and pak choi with his dinner.

small, Welsh and almost certainly bonkers, but can be tamed with Talisker, if required

Went up to water and check on everything and was SO disappointed to see the sweetcorn, runner beans and courgettes I transplanted on Monday are looking incredibly crappy  :( :( :(

Weeded.

Hunted for my parsnips (again) between the chickweed, no sign, only tonnes of chickweed so hubby raked it over and we'll pop our peas in there instead.

Bought some netting to protect my beans and cabbages.

Picked lettuce, pak choi and radishes, yummy!

Just got back from lotty after a lot of weeding in between the parsnips and onions. Sowed a quarter row of more carrots Flyaway f1. Watered everything in greenhouse and put 12 assorted toms outside of the plot for anyone who wants them for free , i've got enough.

I must sort out my spare plants and pass them on.... thanks for the reminder.
But I'll keep a couple of each back as insurance  ;)

Unable to go the the plot today because of incessant rain. It has only just stopped and it started at first light this morning.

Ah well the Ulster Prince First Earlie's will have liked it.

Picked some turnips for tea - dodging the raindrops.
