Sounds good!   What's the "three brothers" approach though?

Mares tail, bindweed and couch grass

All persistent and nagging nuisances; are you sure they can possibly be male?  :tongue2:
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

WHEN MODS GO BAD...a new drama coming to your screens...............
small, Welsh and almost certainly bonkers, but can be tamed with Talisker, if required

Did a bit of weeding on the plot and watered in the G/house.

Will have to get down early tomorrow to water the whole of the plot as things are starting to look like they need a drink.

Only a few weeks ago we were saturated with water :D

I keep a lottie diary and on May 5th i wrote how cold it was and how everything was being hold back by the cold weather  ::)

So much digging...     Marked out one of my allotment edges properly for the first time.  Lots of couch grass and thistles to shift, spend a good three hours on it this evening.  Got my sweet peas out of the cold frame and planted them out.  Need to put in some climbing beans, only 3 out of 12 came up in the cold frame.  Not much luck so far with beans in general, although peas are doing nicely.

Everyone seems to be planting out leeks, but mine are still tiny.  Off down the garden centre for some grown-up ones, methinks.

I got home yesterday to find all my lettuce and brassicas shriveled up, I watered them well, do you think they will grow back?
