This week I have:

Put more broad beans to 'chit'. Pesky meeces have done for two batches already.
Mice 2 - 6 Meece Traps. We shall overcome.

Sown more Toms, Peppers, Courgettes, Cucs, Squash,

Oca are starting to show leaves in their pots, Potatoes in bags in greenhouse are breaking the surface of the compost.Leeks are coming through ' a la cat liter'. Bandit are really quick to geminate but Musselbourgh are really slow.

All the onions are in, apart those that T&M have failed to deliver in a timely manner.

Trefoil green manure is sprouting nicely amongst the spring cabbage.

Planted some asparagus crowns but I think they are dead, more on order.

Thinned some of my early carrots under cloches and sown the main crop.

Summer cabbage and Caulis are showing in the sed bed.

Shallots are looking good, the best are the leftovers that I 'pre-chitted' and planted amongst the fruit trees. Only did them on a whim when someone on this board suggested using them to harvest leaves.

Gone silly on potatoes. I think I have planted more seed potatoes than we would actually eat in a year.

Bought lots of strawberries to grow in bags.

Ice - If transport costs weren't so high you could go into mass production - "ready kits" all tools (screw driver) included!

Put me down for a couple  ;)

Must have been the weekend for raised beds (not as deep/posh as your Ice  )

Dug over 18 sq m to a depth of 15 ins, put up four beds 3.6m by 1.2 m, helped Mr Sunny with 25m of rabbit proff fencing so plot now completely enclosed.

Planted some spuds, shallots and sowed parsnips

Lay down quietly for a while but no aches today  :D :D :D :D :D

Oh killed 23 wireworms from the other end of the plot when I took up my potato traps  :tongue2:

Finally got up there on Sunday after all the rotten weather and moved two small rhubarb plants from a pot on my patio - not sure if it's the right time to do this but went ahead with it anyway (fingers crossed!)

Planted 5 chitted Charlotte potatoes and ordered two books on the internet all about - yes you've guessed it! - Allotments lol  :D

The house is in chaos as we are having our woodburner installed so I shut myself away in the shed and potted on 120 bedding plants.

Recently I have managed to get my Broad beans in (Container)
Early pot's in (Container)
Early onwards peas (Container)
And my seedling are coming on strong in my coldhouse and window sills.

I was hoping to get some things in my new raised beds as they are still empty but the forecast looks shocking for the bank holiday weekend :(

In fact while I am here, If we do get a dry day at some point over the weekend what would you recommend planting out in the raised beds at this time of year??  (for seeds)
