Put my onion sets back in ..... yet again, spot of close weeding between the turnips, some hoeing between everything else. Thinned out my lettuce and brought them home, vowed to hate all pigeons until the end of time after seeing what they have done to one of my cabbages, and watered my seedlings which are under cover.

Just got in from cutting the grass, was worried that it might be the last chance i get before the weather turns, but with it being pitch black i cant tell if ive missed any spots, probably looks a right mess ::)

Collected my last remaining (and after 24h in the rain now rather cleaner) potatoes and picked a few more peppers which are on the turn from red to green. Got very wet feet!

(At home, picked the last of my pears from my patio dwarf tree)

I know what I should be doing while the weather holds but so far haven't managed it  :(

There's all the beans to clear and hundreds of strawberries to dig up. Maybe today ........

Played giant sand pies with my daleks to get all the good stuff together and make room for all the other stuff waiting to go in.

Observation/warning: although my bamboo plants are of the thin-stemmed type they must be mighty rot-proof; they have proudly (?!) resisted decomposition even longer than woody privet cuttings!

As I was removing the sweetcorn plants I found 2 cobs each with about 30 seeds on; call me thrifty but I'll be having them with my dinner!  :)

Stood in my new greenhouse and pondered how and what sort of staging I need to construct; only about 10 possibilites left to choose from now!
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

For the last 5 days nothing. It's unheard of but I have not had the time or the weather to get up there. I'm planning a Winter dig blitz on both plots this coming weekend.

small, Welsh and almost certainly bonkers, but can be tamed with Talisker, if required
