Yesterday:  weeding, tons and tons of weeding
Today: weeding, tons and tons of weeding

This is what happens when you have a couple of weeks of being too busy with work to get down to the plot every day.  I love it when the effort shows, though.  Nearly back to normal.

Lots of weeding, dug some potatoes, picked some runners, more weeding, put in the last of the little leeks.  O.H. strimmed and cut grass and put up rabbit fencing. Great day.

Barrowed lots of manure and harvested a bootiful cabbage, half of which we just had with our tea. OH did his usual - obsessive weeding!

Cut the grass paths with a decent push mower - looks neat!  :)

Cut two heads of broccoli, dug carrots and spuds, cut flowers and hoed..hoed...hoed  ;)

Pulled out blighty tomatoes, at the moment just the ones in the plot and one sungold in a pot. The ones in the plot were full sized outdoor toms (dog ate the label) and we haven't had any off them. It was a good crop too. The sungold was nearly done.
Picked runner beans (after picking them up from the floor and adding extra stakes and loads of string!) and herbs for herby mash. Weeded.

Walked down for a brief visit - both to show my father in law the new plot and to spray some Roundup on the rest of the plot that I haven't managed to get to yet.  Am going to try uploading a picture - this is pretty much before we did anything to it - now we're about a third of the way there!

Spent most of the weekend digging, as I was given another plot next to mine, this was the last of the plots available here so I was lucky to be here when they were marking out. So as I said I spent much of the weekend digging this new piece of land over, I also moved my compost bin and restacked the compost.

Have a look at my blog  :)
