Dug over the bed I took the onions out from yesterday and added two barrowloads of compost  :D

Did a bit of weeding, watched husband cutting down a very very big bush that was getting in the way of the sun, picked lots of green peppers and ate one.

Watered and weeded - weeded and watered! No matter how much rain we have the ground is still dry.  Picked more toms and courgettes.

I think maybe he should have cut it lower - there's been little sun getting through to us. :(

Nothing here today.. been raining far too hard all day.. at least the water butts might get replenished a bit :-)

Caught B*** mink thats taken 8 of my lovely little ducks, even worse than the stoat I thought it was, been happy all day, then found another in another trap, may be a litter running about, now I feel sick with worry again

Completed the full first quarter of the clearance with a wonderfully composted bed,
Moved a pair of daleks, compost and all - have qcquired these from the next plot holder who is 'giving up' at the end of the year. One had been emptied for the new bed so filled it up with the stuff I've been collecting since April.
This means a good tidy up was had and a look around to plan the next stage of the clearance.
Went home with various donations from other plot holders who have been very encouraging and supportive of our mamoth task.
Job well done  :) :) :)
When I arrived, there were so many docks, I thought it was Southampton.
