picked the 2nd half of the sugarsnap peas and cleared the leaves to the dalek :)
nearly 8 lb of ready to freeze (topped and tailed, sliced through and blanched) sugar snaps :)
Now all the pumpkins can be planted, as they've been trying to escape from their pots for a while now

what a lovely day I had yesterday - did too  many things to mention (ooeerrr missus!),  but I told myself I must take camera down and take some piccies. Now I'm back from th'office, I shall get down there and take some piccies (in between watering and weeding - crickey, ain't it DRY???) ::)
small, Welsh and almost certainly bonkers, but can be tamed with Talisker, if required

Watering, watering and more watering

Also thinned the carrots (yummy), picked the first two courgettes of the year, half a pound of mange tout, and pulled some lettuce to give to friends.

Am liking this a lot  :D :D :D :D

   at Vet! It's a close call! He really doesn't get the watering thing - he said he had watered the onions for me the other  day - that's 200 of them, plus 60 shallots and 40 garlics - he used 2 watering cans. I had to laugh!  :nowink: I gently explained you would need at least 20 cans..................... OH not impressed!

I have a super OH- he is the king of watering- which is good when I am away so much!
Been and wandered around the garden tonight- ate some lettuce, basil, rocket and more pea shoots (yum)
The horseradish has finally appeared above ground level which is good as it was a bit late being planted, and was just a chunk off root from local farm shop, thrown into a bed with a dollop of manure!

Sweet peas finally growing a bit- think they were embarrassed after dwarf broad beans overtook them!

Everyone looking good- will be nice to see them all again on Friday when I get home again!
Very often quite lost- would be more lost if I could work out where I was!- But always find my way home.....

Planted some more pea and french bean seeds, watered a bit, dug up some 2nd early spuds - Marfona, picked more strawberries (such a chore having to eat a punnet every 2 days!) and weeded the onions.

I weeded and watered while other half continued to sieve the second bed... was hoping he'd have it finished by the weekend so I can plant some more, but not convinced.. it's been a slow start to the week!

Watered, watered and yet more water! Been a basking hot day today and the veggies seem to love it! Also snaffled a scaffolding plank from my kind builder neighbour (has warped a bit but is fab for our walkway) and bought lots more compost!
