Absolutely nothing, it's far too hot! I'm not made for hot weather I'm a true Scot. Where's that rain? :)

Turned a patch of soil over, weeded, watered courgettes, and put some Swede and Beetroot seed in.

In the 2 hour free slot between lunch and dinner:

  • planted out some yellow and some green courgettes
  • found a home for a spare tray and a half of sweet peas
  • planted out some 'should have gone in earlier' butternut squash
  • finally cleared and dug the patch of purple sprouting that had grown to palm tree size
  • watered
  • cut a couple of cabbage

Rushed home to collect the evening meal for my parents - cycled off with it and plated it up before belting home to water the greenhouse and have my own dinner ;)

Yesterday evening watered the seedlings and sowed some green maure round the pumpkin patch , crimson clover. Also sowed some more pak choi in the garden.
The ginger seems to like the poly/greenhouse floor as it has put on a growth spurt in the few days it has been there.  :D

Spent all yesterday at the plot. Have some nice cougettes coming along, rescued the raspberries from some bindweed that was sneeking in. Watered, weeded and weeded some more. So why does it look the same as when I started

Planted out sunflowers,
                   savoy cabbages,
                   peppers,
                   celery,
                   toms,
                   leeks,
                   lettuce,
                   beans,

Then did a bit of weeding and watering :)
