Hi everyone, a wee bit of advice needed. My Mum bought me some lovely tulip and may flower bulbs that I completely forgot about and only found yesterday  If I plant them now do you think they will flower but just not for very long? Or do flower bulbs usually keep well till next season?

They won't livetill next year unless you plant them
They might not flower at all this year, or only poorly, but they may make enough growth to recharge the bulbs to flower next year.

But they stand no chance at all if you don't plant them

I forgot mine too. We only planted them 2 weeks ago so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I've read, on gardening blogs, of this happening to quite a few folks and their bulbs have usually appeared just a bit later than normal. Worth a go - get them in the ground! Good luck

I planted some half price tulips and crocuses last year that were being sold off.  It was about this time of year and they flowered their socks off.  They're coming up again this year
