What can I sow now?

Any ideas?  It would also be fantasic if it could be grown in tubs of some kind.  The garden is in the process of being done up at the moment and I can't trust people not to stand on stuff not in pot/tubs.

letuce can be sown at fortnightly intervals so you have a constant crop all summer, infact most salad crops can begrown in pots, i'm growing carrots in pots this year.

i have some in tubs, they are just starting to thicken up. don't sow them too thickly though.

I don't see why not. You should get quite a few in a decent tub.

I've got my spring onions in those long window box type planters as there's not enough space left in garden.  I've planted a bit thick, but thta was in cse they didn't germinate well.  Also got silverskin onions in another the same size, and will fill up another one in a day or 2, maybe this afternoon if I get bored indoors!!!
