Any Cure for Tiddly Eggs?
« on: February 19, 2010, 13:49 »
Okay, it's gotten to be the norm now.  My Maran is laying eggs the size of a blackbird's eggsevery day.  Is there no hope?  No yolks, just white with lovely chocolate brown shells.  Peepy eggs though.   :(  Anybody know a cure?
When I die I will slide in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand and chocolate in the other, screaming, "Whooo hooo!  What a ride!" as life is to be enjoyed to the fullest!

she is in training for laying the proper ones, how long has she been laying these wind eggs?
Staffies are softer than you think.

Or you've got a new marketing tool - eggs especially for those people who eat 'omlettes made with the whites only'

LOL!  Well we got her last April and I was told at the time that "she was left over from last season".  She was the only Maran left.  Gee, I wonder why? ::)  I think someone else brought her back and we ended up with her.  She's a lovely healthy hen and was the one that hatched out those fertile eggs we put under her when she went broody and she raised those chicks brilliantly.  I guess this is just her.  Loved your responses though!   ;)
