my red cabbage seedlings have there first leaves now is it safe to put them into my make shift cold frame make of a glazzing unit and some loose bricks

Get them used to it for a few days by just being there in the daytime, bring them back at night.

Now of course if you'd waited a bit and sowed them in their in the first place......

Mine are being sown straight into a cold greenhouse next month.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
