Has any one grown this variety, Riesentraube ?

It's a german heirloom tomato,cherry type, it's ment to have good flavour.

I'm sure that I grew these in a hanging basket a few years ago. Lots of tiny little toms with a sweet taste

Sadly, I had the opposite. I put several in my sunniest spot with adequate manuring. I got literally hundreds of small elongated toms but found the flavour very lacking. Won't grow them again. Sad because I really looked forward to enjoying them. Even the dog wouldn't eat them.

From what I have read, these are not dwarf hanging basket types, but tall growing with clusters of up to 30-40 fruits.

Oh, well, if Trillium is correct, than they are  bound to be a disapointment.

Sorry spotty. I too looked forward to them, and I know everyone's taste in toms is different so I had a friend who preferred tart toms try them and even she didn't care for them. And if the dog won't eat them, then......
