Go for it.  Bring them on a bit in the house or greenhouse (no I didn't forget but figured you might have replaced it).

In fact, if you were sowing direct outside then this is about the earliest you'd want to be doing it.

I'm OK for greenhouses ... I've got a wee glass one at home and two medium plastic ones at the allotment ... figured the bugrits wouldn't nick that one.

Hi.  Yes, you should be fine.  Just checked my packet and it says to sow indoors March -April and outdoors in May.  I just transplanted mine outside last week and they are struggling a bit, mainly because the ground is SO dry.  We desperately need some good downpours but please not until after half term next week or at least during the night and then lots of sunshine during the day :?
