whens the best time to put my first early spuds into containers?, i do have a greenhouse.  :D

If it`s frost free I don`t see why you can`t do it now. Just don`t keep the compost too wet. :D

Mine go in early March but I'm a bit further north than you. As David says, as long as you can keep em frost free you should have no problem. The farm shop down the road had home-grown Swifts for sale at the end of May last year. I'm hoping to equal that this year for my first earlies.
