hi,

got a couple of random questions if i can please

1) do sugar snap peas ever fill out to use as a garden type pea or are they only suitable for seed at that stage?

2) if somoene was a bit silly and lost the label off 2 3kg bags of peas apart from one is round and one is wrinkled thats as far as im going to get to id-ing them isnt it?


the reasons behind my questions are that i bought a large number of pea seed last year bulk for someone and they never gave me the money so im just going through it all

i have sugar snap, early onwards and green shaft with labels on and 2 bags without that could possibly be onwards and feltham first

Onwards are wrinkled
My Sugar Snap  peas blurb says that you can eat them as mangetout, cooked whole or left until mature and shelled. Don't know if that applies to all varieties though.

got 12kg mixed pea seed to use or swap so needed a idea whats what etc
