Hi all
Just some advice would be nice. I'm thinking of buying a rotovator I have ruffly £300 to spend. Any pros and cons any makes to advoid it will have to be petrol.

Well I have one of the foreign ones from eBay driven wheels fwd and reverse can not at the moment fault it

If you go for a Honda you are unlikely to be disappointed even if your budget will only get you good second hand one I would say.

Johns advice above is worth considering, There are a lot of machines out there at the moment that look very impressive in a photo, but aren't very well built.
I'd go for a well known make (Honda-Alko-MTD) rather than one of the "lot-of-machine-for -the-money-made-in-China" machines that are around at present.
I'd try to avoid very old machines that have been out of production for years, purely because parts for it are becoming very hard to get hold of. :)

From the same place, and that size tiller, for an extra tenner you can get a "Rally" model......these are a well known brand with dealers all over, and far as I know, part of the american "lawnking" group
