Thanks Plot No 2 - at last hard evidence that you can grow lentils in our climate - and great photos too, I like the crimson flowered broad beans.

I have now become so obsessed by the whole idea of cultivating lentils I am going to have to go to Ryton Gardens to talk to their gardeners!

I always see something new at Ryton Gardens. On this last visit they were getting their first bio-dynamic garden ready.

I believe Whisky have the purpose for growing lentils - Green manure. But let us know if manage to raise any seeds.
