Have a little stand from today by the produce area selling. Red and white onion sets. Seed potatoe, rhubarb and asparagus for 1 pound.
Cheap as chips .

Had a quick look today stutgarter onion red barron 40 in a pack , Rooster , Charlote spuds,
5 in a pack . Will check the rest tomorrow .

Same price (97p) in Wilko tho, even worse in the catalogues .......but you can get 10 in Poundland

In another thread Ivor Backache reported that out of 6 kilos of seed spud he had 114 seed. That's 19 to a kilo - 97p at Wilko's!

The big packs are no good if you want to try small quantities or are gardening in tubs or small plots, unfortunately
