Is black pearl a chilli then? I have some seeds but I thought they were sweet peppers

I thought I was starting early this year :)

Plum Crumble - I grown mine either in a glass greenhouse or on our sunny patio. Any of mine that haven't ripened by the end of Sept come in the kitchen - only the bush ones mind you :D

Wish I had a bigger greenhouse or could afford a errr forget the name compost free system thingy..

Its an ornamental chilli plant (although still edible - apparently very good with fish) with very dark purple/black leaves, with black marble sized chillis that ripen to red.

Don't think there is a sweet pepper with the same name

I'm using some old seed but nothing ventured an all that

I cut up some thawed out chillies yesterday for my curry. The seeds have gone brown but I used them anyway.  Is it normal for them to turn brown on being frozen?
