Hi,

I find this crop rotation business a bit confusing. Could you tell me, would it be OK to put brassicas in a raised bed that was manured with chicken pellets last year?

That will be OK.

What you shouldn't do is manure and lime at the same time.

Thanks, about the lime; I assume I need to test the soil to see if I need to add lime?  How will I know? sorry but I'v never tested my soil before.

Lime also inhibits club root - I have it and it's paramount that I lime.
