I think Delia might be a Dave.

Hi all

We got our first chickens about 4 months ago and all has been going well. We are down to two at the moment and we thought that they were both laying but recently Delia, who we thought was a hen, seems to have gotten alot bigger very quickly. We've also heard her (?) make a crowing noise just before we let them out of their house!

I've read that dominant females sometimes start displaying male tendencies when there is no male - is that true? Still being new to all this I'm not exactly sure how to tell for definite whether it should be Delia or Dave! Does anyone have any advice?
