Seville Oranges

They're in the market - a new venture opens up!
Turn to another section of Val's book (the chutney pages are a bit messy)
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

No Seville Oranges here just yet - probably stuck in the snow!
Marmalade making will have to be put on hold for a while.

im going to get banned for this i know....but i cheat!....lakel**d sell tins of prepared sevill oranges/peel , enough to make 6lb of marmalade for £1.99. You can get them all year round, all it contains it oranges/water and it saves me the job of preparing them...lazy i know, i'll get my coat :(

I have an allerfy to oranganin oil (in oranges   ) and so try to avoid them as much as possible.

Once they are cooked the majority of this oil is driven off, so prepared is good fer me

I'm resisting making any more marmalade full stop at the moment. I've still got a massive bag of damsons in the freezer which need to be turned into jam. And I've shelves full of jams, chutneys, marmalades etc already! And we're planning on moving this year ::) ::) ::).

Ahhh!  I confess we moved with boxes of chutney .....  Well, you have to eat when you get there and it takes a while to find the right sources, doesn't it?   Take the chutney and leave some of those old computers behind ...    :D
