Believe it or not Kris, the snow acts as an insulation and prevents them from freezing, so they should be ok. :D

How much light are they getting?
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Took the hint & moved them, then.

Problem with the house is that it's going to be warm, (I assume) and they could just run away & get leggy.

Mine never see anything warmer than a cold greenhouse.

Hey, does this mean its leeks a gogo any time now?
DD, didn't you say you normally wait until Feb for the old cat litter tray sowing sketch?

Like most, I'm impatient, can I sow in the next couple of weeks in cold greenhouse or [slightly less cold] conservatory?

Or should I wait until Feb, when germination will be quicker?..

Phill :)

DD - I shall still myself and hang on for a bit then, just grumpy cos the whole plot is still under 6" of snow and I'm keen to get 2010 going...have plans, sketches for planting etc., but haven't done owt yet...except cut the sycamore hedge down before the snow came..

Phill  :)

I've got some Winter Gem lettuce I can sow & may also start off some "Nautilus" caulis - they were successful from an early sowing last year.
