We have about 7 inches following a further white out this morning. Mine got up, ate and disappeared ..... back to bed!! Possibly the most sensible thing they have ever done!!

Brrrr, strangely our girls were unimpressed by the snow, as though it was a normal occurance, even though it will be the first time they have seen it!  Were more than pleased to see the porridge bowl though :)

I wondered what mine would be like as it was their first experience of snow this morning.  There was about 3 inches in the back garden.  I opened the Eglu door and they just sat there peering out, it was very funny.  Daisy was the first to brave it and the others followed quite quickly.  After the initial tepidation, they were soon off around the garden as they normally would be.

Love your pics, thanks for sharing! I let mine out in the snow for the first time today as they kept nagging - when they came out of the run they didn't know what to make of it! I think the cold feet hit first and two went back into the run (covered) and their nice thick blanket of wood chip, the other two decided to be a little braver and tried breaking ground with their beaks! After about 15 mins foraging Poppy decided she'd had enough and went back and then Sky thought she'd stretch her wings!!! I knew she was going to do it and just watched - flew up to the run roof about 4' off the ground on the side straight into a pile of snow!
Her face was a picture! I got some cut grape to reassure her and then she was quite glad to be picked up and cuddled and put in the run.
