Before and After the flood

Well, I don't know if this is the right place, but I've just managed to use the photobucket thing and Shaun and I thought you might like to see piccies of Plot 113 at Bebington, Wirral, before and after we solved the huge water-logging problem.
Centre is the big pond which we sorted on advice from you by covering with the remains of 5 tons cow poo, a bit of soil, black teram and 20 left over Desire spuds.
Note the magic water pump Right on the After shot.
Hope this works
Well er now I think I have to paste the pics .....

:o By George, I think I've done it :!:  :D   Many thanks to Shaun

PS Just noticed this after shot was before we planted the spuds. Next time I'll show all 20 spuds having found their hole and thriving - together with some ridge cucs, corgettes and marrows. And I have one squash waiting to go in the last hole :D  8)

 Haha! Now that I'm getting a bit more skilled with the bucket, I can show you - the spuds coming up lovely through the holes in the black stuff.
But the cucumbers and corgettes are failing ........ must have got wet feet in the last few days of rain?!?
But 2 marrows given me are doing well in the same muck mound 8)

By the way, in the forground you can see the runners just starting to take hold of Munty's hockey sticks.

And you may be able to see the small but rampant bed of delicious rocket on the left through the hockey sticks; Oh and on the right, the brassicas hiding from the cabbage whites everybody warned me against :)
How do farmers protect all theirs?
