« on: November 22, 2009, 15:12 »
Looks like we're in for it next week folks >:(.  Went on to Metcheck.com to check the weather for the week (its really been too wet this weekend), but next weekend its forecast snow in the Manchester area .  Mind you, I love it.  So no doubt, I'll be in it. :D

It was decidedly nippy when I popped out for milk earlier - time to break out the 'winter' coat as the ol' fleece isn't going to be up to the job for much longer I suspect!

I don't particularly mind cold, or wet, but when you put them together I get really, really miserable, having not grown up with it. I miss 'proper' rain! At home (Africa) it doesn't rain in winter, but massive, loud thunderstorms with impressive lightning displays are common in summer. The rain here is all pissy and thunder is more like a big lorry going past than an explosion! And as for snow... It looks pretty, but I quickly realised what a pain in the backside it is!

I really hope the snow holds off down here until after Christmas like it normally does. I don't like it on days I have to leave the house...
