Layers Feed
« on: May 14, 2007, 12:57 »
Can anyone help?  I have had my chocks for two weeks now and they dont seem to like the Layers feed i bought for them or they grit.  Also is it ok to give them a small worm to eat?  They fight over a juicey worm to eat but i would rather they eat the layers feed and grit.

Did you get your chooks feeding sorted out Rob.

Chooks won't starve themselves.  Worms and other garden bugs are very good for them.  Give them plenty of fresh greens and whatever chicken feed you want them to have - Pellets, mash or, as experienced chicken keepers do, your own chicken mix.
