Before and after pics of No 2.   It's been hard work but we're still there and loving it! Thanks for all the advice and humour :)

The less time you have, the more becomes available.

Looking good  :D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I know what you mean. We took ours on in April and last Wednesday I realised I hadn't been down since Sunday, the longest absence since we went on holiday in June. So I made some sandwiches, went down and brewed some coffee in the shed just to be there. I did dig about a square metre of ground behind the water butt (got to use every bit there is) and picked a couple of the last few lettuces, but mainly sat contented.

It's a great life in't it, we've have a good sized plot on the isle of lewis, been working on it for just over 2 years, as well as fixing the house up. Can't think of anything we'd rather do.

Cheers Sam and Cheryl

Looks like you have put a lot of hard work into getting that plot looking good, still beats me why they are allowed to get so bad before they are given a new home.

I think i might have to get on our committee next year but i've not decided which dictator i'm gonna model myself on yet  :nowink:

I often pootle around my flower and veg garden when I can't do anything because of the weather (or housework) and love sitting in my greenhouse with a brew when it rains 'cos I'm still outside but not getting wet or cold! Can't think of anything better than surveying all your hard work, imagining the produce and what it will taste like and ... just contemplating how good life can be.  :D :D
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
