Hi,

Im wondering if anyone can give me links on community allotment projects that are running about the country. I am specifically looking into setting up community allotment projects that have a group tenancy agreement with the council, where by the site is collectively managed in much the same way as a cooperative structure works for setting up housing Coops.

You could try googling the Allotments Regeneration Initiative website to see if they have any resources on there.

Our council still does not have community group tenancies despite trying to agree a suitable one for years.  In practice an individual takes the tenancy on behalf of the group.

we have this in peterborough, i haven't actually been to it yet as i have had too much to do on my own plots but looks pretty good.
