hi there just got my new plot myself and my wife are total novices but are keen to learn about raised beds any advice on getting started ?

Hey up, best advice I can give is  :ohmy:get all your growing area turned over before the really bad weather, then the winter frosts will help break the soil down, We don't  get any frost where I live but we still turn the soil (that without veggies in it) and then leave the weather to beat it up a bit. Makes prepping the soil for growing easier at the start of the season.

Took me months before I could come up with a "unique question" .... and even that had been answered .. if only I'd searched for the right terms :tongue2:

I started thinking about getting a plot this time last year Now i have 3 halfs :blush:  Im sure you will enjoy being here i know i do.  I am still learning about it hahahha have lernt so much this last year about growing things.

just one thing i thought about when i first obtained my plot . i needed to really put some digging time in . well has i work at the hospital i thought ill take a model skeleton and bury him on my plot well the bloke next to me is a rozza tell him about my find and bingo all dug for nothing but the wife talked me out of it
