i have been reading about hens having worms, but can`t find how you now your hens have them, can anyone enlighten me on this subject,  cheers Fred

If a hen feels underweight, doing very green looking poops and also sometimes you will actually see them in the poop  :blink: If you do see them prior to worming then it's safe to say they have a lot

Most birds have worms and a few wont do any harm. Mine free range and I worm twice a year Spring/autumn), If I fetch any new birds in I worm them whilst in quarantine unless I know they have been wormed recently

They can get worms from the ground they are on, especially if wild birds are also able to get into the area.
