Freshy strawy manure according to http://www.gardenorganic.org.uk/todo_now/faqs.php?id=162.  Munty had a good (winter-time) tip somewhere about starting it all off with a good soaking of hot water.

And Trillium, the sheeps stomach isn't eaten; it is merely used to hold together much cheaper ingredients while they are cooked  ...   ... but a good haggis is a wondrous dining pleasure.

OK :D I am getting plenty horse poo and their bed straw and the hot bed is coming on nicely. The Max-Min thermometer goes in on Tuesday.
18 - 24C. will see sweet potatoes going in and a sqush plant and I'm growing some melons from seed in peat pots ........ I'll put them on top of the Hot Pot ''''''''
THEN WE'LL SEE AH HAA..   Jim

A bit worrying that by putting ammonia on straw, it turns it into horse food.
Wonder if similar method is used for whisky up there in Scotland - my hubby Dave says its someone called Pete who gives it the flavour !!!!!
Still glowing, still growing, still going strong!
