What do you think these are?

Hey guys,

I was just wonderign whether anyone could tell me what these onions are. I was told they were egytian onions, you know the kind that grow the bulb at the top of a long leafy stem. These that I have planted come off of the top of a stem, steadily growing away but I have no idea how to grow them, where to grow them or what to do with them once they are ready???

Anyways, think thats what they are but if someone could have a look and tell me...

that's what I first potted them into which was a small one inch pot

before I re-potted into the same one inch pots but individually

you can see how small they are right?

So anyone got any ideas?

Hey ropster,

Thanks for the link, that's exactly what they looke dlike earlier this year, but I go no bulbs under ground. Will try and give them a proper grow now. Thank You.

Yep they look like onions to me, have a bite of one and see..If you can catch it of course

They'd have to be walking real fast for me not to catch one parsnip

But yes they smell like onions too, well more like chives actually.
