Here's hoping he is soon back to normal and in full action  ;)

Sorry to hear about George's health disaster. Wish him all the best from me if you see him. Does he have an automatic watering system in place for his greenhouses?

He says thanks for the best wishes, and he's back in business again!

He's cut the timber for the cider press, and today, out of the rain, the collecting tray is under construction! :D

not quite ripe yet - probably another few weeks, and the cookers another month or so.
Staffies are softer than you think.

No George today, but he's probably snooping round car boot sales for cider making stuff! ::)
The shed is still standing; no doubt waiting for some suitable paint to magically turn up!
The press is to be a fixture on a suitable stand in front of the shed! :D

well some apples are ready - not sure of the variety though - they are smallish and brown skinned. They taste ok though. The larger apple vaieties aren't ready yet so it is up to you and george if you want to have the little uns or wait  :)

just been googling and I would say they are egremont russet as the skin is completely russet in texture an appearance and they are a dry taste. Hopefully should be good for a dry cider (which even though I very really drink this is the one drink I will have - hate sweet ciders  :)).
