As a follow up to yesterday's report, I took a pic today. George was on his other plot planting veg!
The more observant among you will notice a modicum of tidiness!

Steaming hot day at the lotties commitee meeting! Sucessfully diverted attention to the state of Georges plot, again! He may claim national monument status as Moley and his OH had a conducted tour the other day.
George is considering the Heckington show, truck willing!
He has a Wilkinson’s sword and lots of trophies from last year for flowers and tomatoes!
He says if he goes he’d like to run a book as to where he might be found!
3 to 1 in the shire horse enclosure, filling bags.
5 to 1 behind the beer tent salvaging plastic pint pots for pricking out.
6 to 1 favourite, (this one really did happen) at the cake and pastry competition telling them he wanted the surplus cakes for fictitious chickens, when he really wanted them, for his daily plot lunch!
100 to 1 Buying something from one of the stalls! :D

Ooh good some of us are having a meet up at the Heckington show (see the posting in the meet up section) so perhaps we will get to meet this George - after following all your tales about his shed I think he sounds brilliant - just another excentic old English gent

The commitee voted for a mailbox on the main gate. Who volunteered  for the job of making one? You've guesed it! :D
George's wife found him a car boot clock to see when its tea time, as he never wears a watch.
He's found a lot of pig bones whilst digging and is considering making his own bone meal!
Said he might start looking at dissused cemetaries next! ::)

He's quite chuffed; I do him the occasional print out, so now he's coming up with more wild ideas.
Don't think he'll be at Heckinton, as he hasn't hasn't anything ready to show. Pity as I could have scrounged a lift! :)

We have several old boys with clocks I am thinking about getting my "old boy" one seen as he always says I'll only be ten minutes

10 mins = 3 hours

Only 3 hours?  :D He's giving the slowpokes a bad reputation for speed.
