Here we go again! George (at rear) and his plot neighbour Dave, fetching more glasswork from Georges other plot to stand at the side of the one on rails!
George is looking for suitable material and frugal cutting method for a horse and plough weather vane to top off the greenhouse on rails. 8)

George has managed to squeeze a bit more clutch out of his truck; so he arrived today with yet another greenhouse!
This one is to go end to end with the one he shifted the other day, alongside the one on tracks!

Work was disrupted when mother and family came out from under some of his "collection" and had to be escorted to the river.
Quackers!

Two full plots! Most of one under glass. George is big into flowers and competitive arranging!
And of course, ballet and opera! 8)

The end to end greenhouses are now in situ! :)
The nearest was to have been my freebie, but I bought a polytunnel instead!

George wasn't on site today, but I couldn't resist a pic of his "seasoned" bone china tea cup. I understand its a traditional builders thing!

To clean that cup would be sacrilige and would also remove the fine flavours built up over many brews. I have one at work hopefully aquiring a similar patina to Georges fine example.

At least no one will 'borrow' his cup.
I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

He has a mess tin for his lunchtime noodles; it brings real meaning to the word "mess".

I don't like to disturb him too much at the moment, as the projects have taken a back seat to serious gardening. His tomato plants are doing really well, and lots of his potential prize booms are being nurtured! But no doubt work will resume as soon as possible! :D
