Untidy plots were disscussed at the last committee meeting, so George has had to make an effort, and start planting as well!
But today he found time to start on the gloss paint! :D

I think he should take that to the Tate Gallery and enter it for a Turner Prize.

I have just read this post from beginning to end at first I thought as the others did

What a blooming pigsty  its not to my taste but George must have an engineering mind, he is able to use whatever he finds to make something new that serves a purpose. While he may not please most eyes with his ideas the fact is he gets great pleasure from it and it keeps him out of mischief, as long as he still grows stuff I think George should be admired.

Most of that would be in a landfill site and if he can make use of it for a few more years then good luck to him, while I wouldn't be too pleased if George was my plot neighbour I must admire him for putting so much time and effort into something he believes in.

George has become a celeb with this post, maybe he should be uploaded to you tube
Thank you for sharing

What is next on Georges list of must do's

ps cant remember who mentioned it but I have OCD and my plot doesnt look like Georges :tongue2:

I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

I wish the BBC or other channels would make programmes with characters like this in them ,rather than the sanitised people who purport to be experts .I would love to see a year in the life of George,s allotment ,if they can make a programme about an ageing walrus moustached biker called the recycler or reclaimer then they could do this methinks anyway rant over lets step aside for sir George and his amazing lotty drum roll please  maestro         :tongue2: :tongue2: :tongue2: :tongue2:

A minor disaster has occured; George's old builder's truck's clutch has given up!
He arrived by bicycle today,  because he's almost finished glazing the greenhouse!
The truck has a generator and his power tools, so it looks like major wallet surgery! :D

Next and most important project for George should be a bicycle trailer!!

If he's interested in a simple yet strong and quite light-weight design let me know  ;)

George really needs to get himself some gloves, even buy some, though I guess that would go against the grain.

You're probably right but I find glass is easier to handle and less likely to slip and cut my feet if I use my bare hands...
